BASEC is accredited by UKAS
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is the sole national accreditation body recognised by the UK government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.
Accreditation by UKAS demonstrates BASEC's competence, impartiality and performance capability.
BASEC is accredited by UKAS against EN 45011 for Product Certification and against ISO/IEC 17021 for Quality Management Systems Certification and for Environmental Management Systems Certification.

BASEC is a Notified Body under the Low Voltage Directive.
BASEC is a member of the HAR agreement group of CENELEC, and can license manufacturers in the UK and Ireland to use the <HAR> mark.
