As a service to our approved manufacturers and their customers, BASEC offers a free-of-charge complaints investigation service for installers and end users when cable-related problems emerge with an installation using BASEC approved cable. We provide you with the technical and supporting information you may need to resolve an issue concerning a product or range of products. Please see the contact details below. This is also available where potentially non-compliant cable has been purchased.
The causes of about half of all cases BASEC investigates are due to installation design errors, such as under-specifying of cable. The other half are due to problems with the cable itself or practical installation issues.
