Notices are about products investigated as part of BASEC's work on unsafe, non-compliant or faulty cables, and are published to assist with public safety and the encourage appropriate action by traders and contractors.

End users, traders and contractors with concerns about any cable product are encouraged to follow the steps set out on this website and if necessary to contact BASEC for further advice and assistance.
