Construction Products Directive

The European Union is in the process of introducing fire performance requirements on all cable products traded within Europe falling within the scope of the Construction Products Directive.

Currently there are no specific requirements which manufacturers and traders must comply with, and it is therefore not currently valid for a manufacturer or trader to claim compliance of any cable with the requirements of the Construction Products Directive.
